Brightly Storytime: Here Comes Teacher Cat

Welcome to a new installment of Brightly Storytime, our video series for kids. We’re reading along with Here Comes Teacher Cat, a charming tale from Deborah Underwood and Claudia Rueda about an unexpectedly fun day at school. Readers will dive right into the action as the narrator wakes up a napping Cat to say that Ms. Melba isn’t able to teach her class at Kitty School and Cat needs to fill in. Cat isn’t too excited by the prospect of substitute teaching, but is eventually convinced to step up to the challenge — albeit slowly and with many distractions along the way! Once at school, Cat leads the little feline students in some rambunctious activities, including playing loud music, building a fish fountain, and covering the classroom in paint.
