We’re thrilled to celebrate spring and nature’s rebirth by reading along with Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax in this newest installment of Brightly Storytime. When the Once-ler stumbles upon a valley of beautiful Truffula Trees, he begins to chop them down to make Thneeds. The Lorax arrives to advocate for the trees and warns the Once-ler that his actions could do terrible damage to the forest and its inhabitants. What will happen to the once-lush landscape? You’ll have to read along with Ms. Linda to find out!
The Lorax is a powerful and timeless story that’s perfect to explore with young readers on Earth Day, throughout spring, and all year long.
