Kayla Whaley is a novelist and essayist. She's an editor at Disability in Kidlit and a graduate of the Clarion Writers’ Workshop. Her work has appeared in Uncanny Magazine, The Toast, The Establishment, and is forthcoming in Kelly Jensen’s young adult anthology Feminism for the Real World. She lives outside Atlanta with too many books and not nearly enough cats, but can most often be found being overly sincere on the internet.
