How to Throw a Curious George Birthday Party

by Janssen Bradshaw

Is there any monkey as beloved as Curious George?

Having had three toddlers, I’m pretty sure that a one- or two-year-old has a whole lot in common with the iconic little monkey who wants to get into everything.

This curious creature and his friend, the Man in the Yellow Hat, make the perfect theme for a birthday party and there are so many ridiculously cute ideas out there! There’s no better time to party like a monkey.

Yellow Hat Place Settings

Put a black band around the top of a yellow cup, set it upside down on a yellow plate, and voila! Man in the Yellow Hat Place settings.

Monkey in the Middle

This classic game is just right for a Curious George party. Have everyone stand in a circle with one guest in the middle, then try to toss a ball (or a stuffed Curious George!) across the circle without the “monkey” in the middle catching it.
