About the Book

A gentle but silly picture book about mental health and the power of a good cuddle.

Papa Lion just can't convince Little Lion to get out of bed this morning! They have so much to do, so Papa Lion decides to bring all the activities to him in bed, no matter how big and wild they are. From a full-diner breakfast to a soccer game and surprise party for Grandma, can anything convince Little Lion to finally get up?

Award-winning author and illustrator duo Darren Farrell and Maya Tatsukawa have created a sweet story about a persistent Papa and his tuckered-out cub, with a reminder that sometimes it’s the simplest things that bring the most happiness.
