About the Book

Dory learns how to read in this bestselling, laugh-out-loud chapter book series about an imaginative little rascal with a big personality. Perfect for fans of Junie B. Jones and Ivy & Bean!

“Some of the best children’s literature in years.” —New York Magazine

Ever since Dory met Rosabelle, a real true friend whose imagination and high spirits match her own, school has been pretty good. But now the class is learning to read, and it's proving to be a challenge for Dory. While Rosabelle can read chapter books in her head, Dory is stuck with baby books about a happy little farm. If only there were a magic potion that could turn Dory into a remarkable reader. Or maybe her larger-than-life imagination can help!

Complete with pencil-drawn pictures bursting with charm and character, this hilarious series about a lovably energetic little sister and her antics is sure to keep the whole family laughing.
